Photo of "Coop" the coopers hawk that visits the yard once or twice a week. Of course it is great hunting in the yard with all the bird feeders about.

This scary dude is a large painting my wife did for our Great Grand daughter. At first she was afraid of it but after a few visits they have become really good friends.

Female Cardinal enjoying something good to eat while keeping her back to the snow storm. Few other feathered friends with her as well.

Another female cardinal trying to get some protection and warmth from a Maine snow storm.

Last but not least are these Jack-O-lantern mushroom growing at the base of a dead American chestnut tree stump. Hope you enjoyed this weeks photos. Six more weeks after tomorrow and spring will be here.
